There is now an offshoot scam operating as a classical 419, known only as [[https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/btc-global-recovery-scam-aka-steven-twain-is-back.1117986/|Steven Twain is Back]].
It has gathered momentum by promising to return all stolen funds after a deposit of over $2500 is made to a BTC wallet controlled by the scammer.

From [[https://www.facebook.com/StevenTwain44|Facebook account - Steven Twain]](({{::screenshot_20210105-063133_chrome.jpg?400|}})) and [[https://www.facebook.com/groups/348311365675961/|Facebook account - Steven Twain is Back]], it can be seen that he regularly shows finalised payments.
Yet as can be seen from the above Mybroadband link, the wallet circles the majority of the funds back into the wallet(({{::1609780287328.png?400|}}{{::1609780317843.png?400|}})).
